Definitions

Bill of Material: This is a list of Part Numbers, Part Description, Reference Locations, and Component Package Sizes that go into your PC Board Assembly.

CAD Data: This is the electronic file that was used to design your Circuit Board. (Note: It takes 4 – 5 times as long to program a Pick and Place without this data)

Gerber Data: This is the electronic data the PC Board manufacturer uses to construct the PC board. It contains a list of all the layers, an Aperture list and a Drill Rack.

Bill of Materials can be provided in Text or Excel format.

BOM listing which includes Reference Locations and component sizes is strongly recommended.

AVL (Approved Vendor List) is extemely helpfull when procuring components for turnkey assembly.

Providing of Data: The data can be provided by either disk, e-mail or fax. See our Contact Us page for information.

Best Manufacturing practices will be used to build both prototype and production runs. This will ensure we provide the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost.

Non-Recurring Engingeering Charges
In order to process your printed circuit boards there may be " one time" NRE charges that may appear on your quote. These charges are a “not to exceed” figure. Your actual charges will be based on our costs. Common charges include, but art not limited to, the following :

SMT Stencil Charges this is the stencil used to apply solder to your PWB. Large, two sided boards may need a stencil for each side, top and bottom.

Vendor Tooling
most common is the tooling and test fixtures associated with circuit board production.

Process Setup
programming, profiling and first time production parameters for assemblies.

Assembly Tools tools required to produce the PC boards and /or your assembly.

Test Engineering programming and setup of required testing for the PC boards and / or assembly.

Details of NRE charges will be provided upon written request.
